Travel the World With Jango Mango

Jango Mango is the official mango ambassador for the National Mango Board. He has made it his life’s mission to make sure every family in the United States experiences the great taste of mangos.

His Mama Mango taught him how to use the versatile mango to infuse a variety of dishes with tropi-culinary inspiration. Meanwhile, Papá Mango taught him all about the different regions of the world where mangos are grown. As soon as he was ripe enough, he enrolled at Mango University to learn about the origins and nutritional value of mangos.

Jango loves to travel and is making his way about the U.S. one state at a time. He took his first trip to Washington D.C. in October 2007 to participate in the Marine Corps Marathon. Next Jango traveled to Miami, Florida where he enjoyed Miami Beach and many of the other sites and sounds of the city.

In his ambassador work, Jango hopes to teach people that they should not judge a mango by its color. He hopes to follow the footsteps of his greatest heroes, his parents, because it takes two to mango!
